What you'll do!
Under the direction of the Program Director and in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Boys & Girls Club of Lincoln/Lancaster County, our Youth Development Professionals are responsible for the implementation of our comprehensive programs. These individuals model honesty, respect and responsibility. The ideal candidate aims to engage every student, is mission driven and has a knack for building collaborative and meaningful relationships with members, volunteers and program participants.

Starting at $14.00 an hour

Available Hours
Part-time hours, Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm
What you'll have!
Prior experience implementing programs that nurture youth potential and the managing of others preferred.
Flexible to accommodate your schedule working up to 20 hours weekly.
An understanding and knowledge of the mission and objectives of Boys & Girls Clubs.
Carry out daily programs, activities, instruction and procedures with minimal supervision.
Contribute to creating a positive Club environment that facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, Health Lifestyles and Promotion of Program Key Focus Areas.
Communicate effectively and exhibit excellent relationship building skills with students, parents, Park and BGC staff and management.
Demonstrated ability to critically assess situations, solve problems, work effectively under stress, within deadlines and in emergency situations.
Reliable transportation to and from work, to program locations.
Must be 18 years or older.
Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
