What you'll do!
Design, develop and oversee implementation of all Club programs; providing academic and enrichment services on site in all core program areas, both those designed by Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and developed locally.
Maintain a regular physical presence in Clubs; monitor and evaluate programming and safety in all settings and provide coaching to Club staff.
Provide leadership and direction to ensure the effective operation and delivery of programs by supporting the organization’s mission and principles. Ensures the programs, services, activities and the Club environment supports and facilitates the achievement of youth development outcomes.
Allocate and monitor work assigned to program volunteers and staff, providing ongoing feedback and regular appraisal. Identify and support training and development opportunities for assigned volunteers and staff.
Set standards and procedures governing participant enrollment, program participation, recruitment and retention, guidance and discipline and parental involvement.
Increase visibility of Club programs to members via posting of daily schedule, announcement of upcoming events and the dissemination of timely information for increasing attendance and recruitment of new members.
Evaluate overall program effectiveness based on participation and achievement of stated goals; recommend modifications to improve program performance, as appropriate; ensure outcome measurement and data analysis drives program improvement and high levels of Club and child safety. Includes tracking outcome metrics needed for BGCA and Community Learning Centers (CLC).

Salary range: $40,000-$42,500 annually; dependent upon skillsets and experience.

Full-time hours, Monday – Friday, 10 am – 7 pm
What you'll have!
A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university preferred.
A team-oriented attitude and skilled communicator with a minimum of two years’ experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar nonprofit organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
Equivalent combination of education and related experience will be considered.
An understanding and knowledge of the mission and objectives of Boys & Girls Clubs.
Remarkable collaboration skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and build meaningful working relationships with organization leaders, coworkers, community groups, clients and other related agencies.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and develop innovative solutions with limited supervision.
Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to organize, direct and coordinate operations, and recruit and retain key personnel and oversee facilities and budget management.
CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred with mandatory completion of certification once employed.
Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
