This committee reviews the Club’s annual resource development goals, plan and execution. The committee also assists in the execution of this plan where appropriate and effective.
Each committee member brings unique experience and perspective to share. Their role is to act as a sounding board for resource development strategies and tools, develop and hone innovative ideas, and provide feedback on RD activities as requested.
Tasks you'll be involved in:
Lend your resource development or fundraising expertise, engaging in conversations to help improve Boys & Girls Club’s RD efforts.
Identify potential individual donors and businesses who could provide resources to BGC.
Identify possible RD opportunities for the organization and develop plans for moving forward.
Assist with building and maintaining relationships with new and existing donors.
Share best practices and lessons learned as is relevant and appropriate.
Develop a plan for involving Board members in the non-grant fundraising activities of the organization.
The estimated time commitment is 2-4 hours per month depending on needs. That time includes participation in a monthly meeting with the Resource Development Committee (currently held virtually).
Interested candidates, please send an email introducing yourself to our Director of Resource Development at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include 1-3 sentences describing why you want to be involved, and the best way you can contribute to Boys & Girls Club's mission.
