Try Your Luck at Boys & Girls Club's Casino Night

Supporters are invited to Boys & Girls Club's eighth annual fundraiser!

Lincoln, NE (April 11, 2023) — Boys & Girls Clubs of Lincoln/Lancaster County (BGCL) is kicking off the spring with their eighth annual Casino Night fundraiser on Friday, April 21 at Lexus of Lincoln (8585 S. 37th St.). The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. and feature a variety of casino games, food, cash bar, live entertainment and a raffle drawing. Tickets can be purchased at www.lincolnbgc.org/casino-night.

Tickets for the event are $75, which includes dinner and $2,000 in play chips. Guests can also enter a raffle drawing to win a $3,000 vacation getaway, provided in partnership with Those Who Wander Travel agency. The raffle winner need not be present to win – so supporters of BGCL can purchase a raffle ticket even if they aren’t able to attend in person.

All proceeds from Casino Night will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Lincoln/Lancaster County. In 2022, BGCL served over 600 youth with safe places, caring mentors, and high-impact programs.

Over the past three years, BGCL programs have centered around workforce development for young people. BGCL’s newest program, BGC in a Box, brings career exploration activities and resources to kids all over Lancaster County. Their goal is to equip students with hands-on experience to become career, startup, and postsecondary ready by the time they graduate.

“BGC is the leader for youth workforce development and the premier youth development organization across the country,” says Executive Director Kimberly Goins. “I’m excited to lead an organization that is preparing young people for not only the jobs of the future, but for jobs that don’t even exist yet.

"Our programming focuses on real solutions that are needed across the state. An investment in the Boys & Girls Clubs is a direct investment into the growth and sustainability of the state. Our real value proposition is that we not only prioritize the social needs for our youth but also, importantly, their economic futures.”
